These are all those services provided by the Terminal, which are not subject to Maximum Rates and which ITI performs at the request of the Terminal user or his representative.

Type of service

Container consolidation
This service includes the following operations: Unloading empty container in consolidation area. Cargo unloading for consolidated from customer’s truck and consolidation directly. Preparation of the necessary documentation for the effect. Consolidation (filling). Loading and portering up to the pre-stacking of the boarding ship in ITI.

Deconsolidation of containers
This service includes the following operations: Unloading in the deconsolidation zone of the full container. Deconsolidated (emptying) and preparation of the necessary documentation for the effect. Load the load on the customer’s truck platform or deliver it to the ITI warehouse. Loading of empty container on truck for dispatch to the corresponding warehouse.

Rent of ground crane to transfer extra heavy and / or oversized cargo
Use of a dock crane to transfer project cargo with weights of less than 30 tons. It is the crane service that is provided to transfer project loads not related to the movements included in Services Subject to Maximum Rates of Transfer of Loads mobilized by the terminal. They may request this service, the shipowner, the consignee and the shipper or their respective representatives, as well as any other client accredited in the terminal. The rate will be applied per hour pro rata , starting the time from the moment the crane is located and ready in front of the warehouse where the load transfer will be made and will end when the crane makes its last move before starting its transfer procedures to the parking place. This service will be charged per hour clock with a minimum of one hour. This rate will be applied to all packages that meet the definition of project loads whose weight is less than 30 tons. Reception of late or after-hours charges
It refers to the additional operational and documentary activities that are required to be given to the containers or loads that arrive at the terminal late at the normal period agreed for the reception in the definitive stacking of the ship. It is defined as the normal period at a time interval of three days (72 hours) with a time of 08:00 hours until 22:00 hours and with a term of this 24 hours before the arrival announced by the ship. Only the operator of the ship or owner can authorize the entry of cargo after the deadline. The service will be charged per container or per ton if it is fractional load or vehicles. The service includes: Appointing and providing the supervisory personnel, port personnel and the necessary equipment to work in special hours both in the operation of the equipment and the computer systems, review of the unit or load and the re-direction of the unit or load inside the terminal to achieve the planned boarding sequence.

Refrigerated container service
Connection / disconnection and monitoring. It is the service provided to all refrigerated containers that need to be shipped, unloaded and / or come or go to the public terminal and / or are in transit through the terminal, which, because they contain loads that require controlled environments at certain temperatures it is necessary to connect them or disconnect them to the sources of power that provide them with electricity supply and at the same time the monitoring by means of specialized personnel and equipment.The service includes: Appointing and providing supervision personnel and monitors, handling of the reefer unit at the time of reception in the terminal, monitoring during the permanence of the container in the terminal, one (1) connection to the arrival of the unit coming from the ship, from the shippers or from another terminal; one (1) disconnection at the end of the unit’s stay in the terminal, the handling corresponding to the loading of the unit on the means of transport that takes it to the ship and one (1) connection or disconnection, depending on whether the container is going to be shipped or unloaded from the ship and documentation of temperature records according to the procedures set with each client. The service will be billed for each container and for each shift in which the container is connected to the ITI facilities.

Electricity supply to reefers containers.
It is the service that is provided to all refrigerated containers that need to be shipped, unloaded and / or come or go to the public terminal and / or are in transit through the terminal, which, because they contain loads or Because they are prepared for loads that require controlled environments at certain temperatures, it is necessary to connect them to the sources of power that the terminal has to provide them with power supply. The value will be billed for each calendar day that the container is in the terminal. The service includes: Appointing and providing the supervisory personnel, the consumption of electrical energy and the documentation of records of the days connected, according to the procedures of the industry and fixed with each client.

Pre-cooled container reefers.
It is the service that is provided to all refrigerated containers that pass through the Terminal and that require to be prepared or pre-cooled to receive loads that need controlled environments or predetermined temperatures. The service is billed for each container that requires this operation. The service includes: Appointing and providing supervisory personnel and specialized refrigerators, controlling temperature levels, programming the different levels of temperatures required by customers and monitoring temperature records according to standard industry procedures. Assembly and disassembly of Gen-Set This is the service provided to all refrigerated containers that, when passing through the Terminal, require the assembly or disassembly of the refrigeration unit called Gen-Set. The value will be billed for each opportunity that is installed or uninstalls a Gen-Set to a specific container. The service includes: Appointing and providing the supervising personnel, the forklift and the personnel that will install or uninstall the Gen-Set to the Container.

Preventionist Risk
It consists of providing a specialist in risk prevention, a service that is not included in the basic transfer services, and its main function is to ensure that all the security rules associated with the ships that dock the terminal and / or its activities are complied with. connected, to the people who work in the terminal facilities, to the transferred and / or manipulated cargo and equipment / maneuvers used. The risk preventionist may be requested from ITI S.A. by cargo consignees or receivers, shipowners or their representatives, the customs service or other authority, or any client that uses terminal services. The service includes: Naming and providing a risk prevention per ship.

Gauging or Recognition of Cargo in Containers.
This service includes all the necessary activities that must be carried out on the containers that transit through the terminal and that, for commercial reasons or customs control, require their re-routing for accounting, checking, inspection, or recognition. This service will be provided at the express request of the shipowner or his representative, the consignee, the shipping agent, the carrier issuing the bill of lading or any user who is responsible for the respective unit. The service includes: Providing yard control personnel, supervision and operation personnel for gauging or reconnaissance, fork cranes to move the cargo, registrars, relevant documentation and coordination with the customs or client. This service does NOT include the respective manipulations or reruns of the unit. Method of payment: The rate will be applied per TEU.

Gauging or Recognition of Cargo in Containers.
It is the denomination for all the necessary activities that must be carried out to the containers that transit through the terminal, which due to the need of customs controls, special requests from the shippers or consignees or any other customer of the terminal require its relogue for its accounting, checking, inspection and recognition either of its load or of the same unit. The service includes: Nominate and provide supervisory personnel, yard control, personnel for the operation of capacity or survey, cranes forks to move the cargo, documentation and coordination with the Customs or Client. Collection form: The service will be charged for each TEU subject to this service.

SAG Cargo Inspection in Containers.
This is the denomination for the tasks that must be carried out on the containers that transit through the terminal and that for reasons of phytosanitary control, the SAG instructs the revision of its cargo. The service includes: Appointing and providing supervision, yard control and operation personnel, forklifts to mobilize the cargo, documentation and coordination with the SAG and the client. Method of payment: The service will be charged for each TEU subject to this service.

Load Storage
The following description is applicable to all storage tariffs with TAR 301 nomenclature to TAR 310 of the terminal rate list and rates TAR 311, TAR 312, TAR 314, TAR 315, TAR 316 and TAR 317, applied to loads with origin or destination Bolivia. It is the custody and conservation service that is provided to the cargo that passes through the terminal, either from or to a cabotage ship or international traffic operated in the terminal, in the public port or in other ports. The place of deposit will be fixed by ITI until delivery to the consignees, the ship or to whom their rights represent. The terminal will be responsible for the custody of the cargo, in accordance with current legislation, from the moment it is physically and documentally received and until its delivery in the same way to the consignee or its representative. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the following cases have been defined together with the Port Company Iquique: a) All cargoes that are unloaded by Iquique, whose final destination is Arica, should be considered a free storage of 48 hours in relation to the moment of the departure of the ship. b) All transshipment and transit cargo that is unloaded by Iquique and then re-shipped by sea, also by Iquique, should be considered a free week of storage. The above is valid for all fractioned loads, full and / or empty containers. The service includes: The custody and provision of the personnel of the warehouse, provide the surveillance personnel, the necessary area covered or uncovered inside the terminal for the safe deposit of the cargo and the documentation of reception and delivery.
